About The Event
Welcome to the enchanting world of glass fusing!
In our "Blooms in Glass" workshop, you will embark on a creative journey to craft your very own fused flower panels to help lift our spirits in these difficult days. This unique workshop is designed for both beginners and seasoned artists, offering a fusion of artistic expression and the timeless beauty of nature.
Workshop Overview:
- Date & Time: Mon. Dec. 25th 11 a.m. or Tues Dec. 26th @ 7 pm.
- Duration: 2 hours
- Location: Creative Crafts Cafe in k'far etzion
What to Expect:
- Introduction to Fused Glass:Explore the basics of fused glass art. Understand the tools, materials, and safety measures.
- Inspiration Session:Draw inspiration from nature's vibrant palette. Discuss different flower designs and color schemes.
- Design and Pattern Selection:Guided session on choosing the right flower pattern for your panel. Learn how to create a harmonious composition.
- Glass Cutting Techniques:Hands-on experience in cutting glass pieces for your flower design. Discover the intricacies of shaping petals and leaves.
- Layering and Assembly:Explore the art of layering glass , frit (crushed glass) and fusing paint to add depth and dimension. Assemble your chosen flower design on the base layer.
- Fusing Process:Understand the firing and fusing process.Your project will be fused & ready for assembly within one week.
- Finishing Touches: Assemble your panels at home or in the studio
