Service Description

Learn the Art of Fused Glass in this Workshop for ages 6 & up :-) for groups of 5 or more participants No previous experience required. Welcome to our captivating 1.5 hour glass fusing workshop, where creativity knows no bounds! Immerse yourself in the world of glass artistry as you embark on a journey to craft your unique masterpiece. You'll learn to cut and shape glass safely, learn different techniques of glass fusing & prepare your project for the kiln. You’ll have the ability to use special glass paints, ground glass called FRIT and other fun additives ! Each participant is provided with a generous 22x12 cm clear glass canvas, just waiting to be transformed into something extraordinary. Unleash your imagination as you explore a range of possibilities for your glass creation. You could fashion it into a personalized sign that reflects your style, or perhaps mold it into an exquisite dish that combines both form and function. Feeling adventurous? Opt for two small dishes or coasters that boast both aesthetic appeal and utility. For those seeking to infuse practicality with elegance, why not craft a stylish napkin holder that's sure to turn heads? Alternatively, channel the sunlight with a dazzling sun catcher, or delve into tradition by designing your very own mezuzah. Looking to illuminate your space? You could choose to create glass fronts for two enchanting tea lights, or engage in some friendly competition with a beautifully designed tic-tac-toe board. Specialty Workshops Include :Fused Glass Flowers, Chanukiya, Standing Characters, Couples Project large square platter or Funky Bowl. This workshop lasts up to 1.5 hours. The cost is from 220 nis per participant ( whether working independently or on a couple project ) and includes instruction , tools, materials and firing . What is fused glass anyway? You design your glass pieces & then they get melted it together in a special kiln. The first firing melts your glass together to form one unit and if necessary the second firing will "slump" it into shape. Your project will be available for pick-up within 2 weeks.., however tourists and visitors bump the line and we get your message projects fired as fast as possible :-) Glass fusing needs to b picked up within a week of being notified that it’s ready . Please note this is not an environment for anyone under age 6.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Creative Crafts Cafe 2 hour Workshops: 24 hours in advance. For later cancellations we will do our best to find a suitable time for a future workshop. Family Workshops: 1 week in advance to return deposit or we will set an alternate date. Adult Classes: 48 hours advance notice to avoid being charged for the class you confirmed.
